My Summer Eats

This summer has been filled with lots of food fun either by cooking it or eating it at a restaurant. Since I am now back in class (this is my last semester for my Associate of Arts) I know my food experience will only go up. So lets do a Flashback Friday, these have been some of my summer eats.

IMG_2539It was my birthday dinner and it was delicious! I got the Italian Sausage and peppers from Grazia in Pearland, which was very satisfying after a long day of styling.

IMG_2659This is from the day after my 10-year high school reunion, we did brunch with some of my classmates at The Goose’s Acre. Two words: Buffet Brunch!

IMG_2569The Chocolate lunch dessert is by far my favorite thing I have had from Hubbell & Hudson. Stopped in here because I thought they had Friday brunch and was pleasantly surprised by their lunch menu.

IMG_2766The Shrimp and Grits Eggs Benedict from BBs Café on Montrose was rich, filling, and what was needed after dancing all night.

IMG_2842In celebration of a Dynamo victory and Fourth of July my sister and I went to Johnny’s Gold Brick in the Heights and was greeted by Pi Pizza Truck which has a 420 pizza containing BBQ sauce, chili cheese Fritos, and awesomeness.

IMG_2860From my kitchen a delicious chocolate French toast bake. Something I threw together because I wanted French Toast without the actual toast.

IMG_2925The juicy wild boar dog (without cheese) from Moon Tower Inn.

IMG_2879The extremely filling and delightful short rib hash from Crisp in The Woodlands.

There are my favorite bites I have had this summer from all over Houston. It has been a stomach filling and fantastic food summer. These were my most memorable and I cannot wait till I get my hands on fall food. Bring on the chili, pies, and cider!
